RBI Assistant Recruitment for 450 Post
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistants on Wednesday. Candidates can apply for the recruitment by visiting opportunities.rbi.org.in. The last date for application is October 4, 2023, and after this date, no applications will be accepted. Under this recruitment, a total of 450 vacancies will be filled. Therefore, candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible.
RBI Assistant Exam Date
The online preliminary examination for RBI Assistant 2023 is scheduled for October 21 and 23, with the main examination taking place on December 2. While changes in the examination schedule may be made by RBI, it is likely that the exams will be conducted on the specified dates.
RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria
In terms of eligibility, candidates who are Indian citizens, or citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees (who came to India before January 1, 1962), can apply for these vacancies. Additionally, people of Indian origin who have migrated to India with the intention of permanently settling from countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam can also apply. However, these candidates must have a citizenship certificate issued by the Indian government.
RBI Assistant Age Limit
Regarding age limits, candidates must be at least 20 years old as of September 1 and not more than 28 years old. Age calculation will be done from September 2, 1995. This means that candidates should not have been born after September 2, 1995, or before September 1, 2003. Reserved category candidates will be eligible for age relaxation.
RBI Assistant Education Qualification
In terms of educational qualifications, candidates applying for the position must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates do not have a minimum marks requirement, but they should have a pass class degree.
